good grief!!!.....our computer is SO wierd!  it's gone from the print being so small that i could hardly make out ANYTHING on anyone's xanga.....to now... it's all so freakin' giant that each word gets its own screen......which leaves me scrolling down after each and every word i read.  man!  what a whippin'. 

well.....one would think that since the last time i updated was in early december, and now that it's more than halfway through january............that i would have SOMETHING to say here, but pretty much...............i got nothin'.  actually, there's plenty goin' on in my head....i just can't let ya'll in on any of it.  so there...just sit there and be curious.

i do have one bit of news worth sharing:  it appears that i will be getting some opportunities in the near future to do some mural painting.  woo hoo.  i really am excited that God is opening up some avenues for me to be "artistic" in a more marketable way.  i know you are all on the edge of your seats as you read this....so i'll keep you posted as things happen.  try not to hyperventilate.  for now i'll just say that you can begin looking for my work in the shops on mainstreet in the near future. 

p.s.  it seems that every single time i try to type the word 'opportunities', it always comes out pooprtunites, and i have to go back and fix it.  i think that from now on....i'll just leave it that way.

wooty-hoo!  good times='bad' weather days at school causing us to have to stay home by the fire all bundled up and what not with family and friends, staying in your p.j.'s till noon, matt getting iced in and having to have a slumber party with us, (you should'a seen him and bub sharing a bed!......just kidding!).....eating hot wings, bagel-bites, cheese cake, and washing it all down with hot wassail.  good times=dad going early in the day to the theater to make sure a bunch of us got tickets to see narnia together.  good times=going to starbucks as they're closing down and making them make us all yummy drinks in spite of the time. 

i love this time of the year..........and in the midst of all the good times, i hope i don't lose site of Jesus and what his coming means to us all. 

narnia was awesome.  we've read all the books over the years and it's soooo cool to see what's been in your imagination come to life before your eyes.  good times...good times. 

welp....i'm gonna go get ready for the youth banquet.  yep....you youngsters out there.....les and i will be there to make sure that not too much fun is had.  somebody's gotta keep a thumb on you guys.  see you there.....laure.

okay.....so i was tagged.  or atleast i'm assuming i was.  sara said she tagged "mom" and that's my name, so i guess she meant me.  so here go 5 random things about myself.

1.  i think my feet are my best feature, even though they make me mad because i can't buy "big-girl-shoes" for them.

2.  the very frst solo i ever sang was when i was in 8th grade.  i played my guitar and sang "leavin' on a jet plane"  for the jr. high talent show.  ..................HAHAHA!

3.  i was afraid to have children because i didn't think i would be able to love them enough. 

4.  i only took one year of art and it was in 7th grade.....and here i am teaching art!!!! how stupid is that?

5.  i have no middle name.  sometimes i wish i did, but i don't know what i'd like it to be.  any suggestions?
